Ten days away
We're moving in ten days.
Observations:
1. Living out of suitcases and boxes is frustrating.
2. THINKING about moving is fun. ACTUALLY moving is not much fun.
3. Buying a house long-distance is a great way to test your patience.
4. I don't like job-hunting.
5. I do like many of the new people I've met.
6. TG for friends. :)

Sunshine is a rare occurence here in Northern Indiana. Really! On average we get 88 clear days per year, according to the national weather service. So.. today is sunny! Yee ha!
Have a sunny day wherever you are!

Yikes!
It has been a while since I last updated this thing.. so here's the update!
Taking my A+ hardware certification test this Friday. I've been studying since Monday.
We hope to be moving out of Indiana around mid-February. So much to do, so little time.
Take care, have a great week all!

Planning a move
The wife and I are planning to move from Indiana to Arizona or New Mexico. Put that way it sounds sooo simple. Then I stop and think about it. Moving four horses, two dogs, a shop full of woodworking equipment and all of our household possesions... WHEW! This is going to be interesting.

Snow!
We're in for a day of the white stuff here in Northern Indiana, according to the weather person on the radio. I like snow, but I'm not too fond of the cold.
Over the weekend we were in the upper part of the lower peninsula of Michigan, near the little town of Wellston. They had 8-10 inches of the white stuff last week, then warm temps on Sunday (41 degrees F). When you've got 8-10 inches of melting snow, everything gets wet and sloppy. Yech!

Continually puzzled
I am continually puzzled by the terrorists in Iraq. Seems to me (merely an observer, I’ll freely admit) that if you are trying to build popular support for an "insurgency," then killing Iraqi civilians, especially women and children, isn’t a reasonable or effective strategy.
